    As most unexpected dreams begin, so was the story behind GingerMade con Filhos.

    An overload of delivered veggies. What do I do with so much beetroot and pumpkin. There's only so much you can offer around to family.

    Beetroot cake, pumpkin loaves, squash bread...My husband loves banana in anything, so in it went the pumpkin. ..and deliciousness followed!

    Naturally it was part of lunch for hubby at work and an overflow of orders began....not just from his workplace but my daughter's too.

    The following 2 months, being close to the December holidays,"crazy season" began...and we loved it!

    My son was our deliverer, as what started out to be an any day delivery very quickly became once a week. That worked out better for all of us, giving us time to bake and the early 5:00 am delivery was now only once a week.

    The excitement of a dream once spoken about, was coming together at a phenominal pace. We found ourselves wondering whether, this time round, we could make it work. So out came signature labels of our own...my son and I being gingers and the help of my children of which this wouldn't have been possible, we came up with GingerMade con Filhos (and children), why portugese, well my daughter's hubby is portugese, and so it's slowly becoming the new linger in the family

    We are constantly coming up with new ideas of flavours, healthy ways to go and packaging, introducing specials on special occasions, keeping up the calender holidays and celebrations.
